Bad Blogger, Busy Baker!

Sooooo, yeah. I haven't blogged in quite a while now, but only because so much has been going on! The store opened on the last day of May and things have gotten busier and busier by the day. Response so far has been so overwhelmingly positive. The Atlantic News did a wonderful article on the bakery last week. Once they put it online I'll be sure to post it here.

Another bit of exciting news - Wild Orchid cupcakes, cookies & pastries are now available at Me & Ollie's Cafe in downtown Portsmouth! Check it out next time you're downtown and craving something sweet :)

Announcing.....

The future home of Wild Orchid Baking Company!!!! 122 Lafayette Road, North Hampton, NH. Work has officially begun and we're shooting for a grand opening at the end of May. Many more details to come!

Come see Wild Orchid Baking Company at the WERZ Bridal Expo, this Sunday, 1/18/09, from 10:30am-3pm at the Whittemore Center at UNH in Durham, NH. There will be lots of display cakes on hand as well as TONS of cupcakes for sampling! Hope to see you there!

Ivory fondant covered cake with silver scroll details. The room was so beautiful and very "old school" Boston - tin ceilings & dark mahogany paneled walls. The cake fit in well being simple & clean, with a bit of sparkle. The perfect cake for an early winter wedding.

This cake was done for and event for the Seacoast Board of Realtors. I'm absolutely in love with the sides! I need more excuses to put little houses and trees on the sides of cakes.
